I bought this wooden horse in Malaysia during my 1999 summer adventures across Asia. I was looking for an orangutan or something monkey-like, but none of them really looked all that great.
This war-horse is a good representative of the area because all sorts of cultures have been in control of the Malay peninsula. I didn’t see any horses there when I visited, though.
